wild trout on the fly.com staffers have over 45 years of combined backpacking experience, from the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee to the San Bernardino Mountains in southern California they have backpacked in destinations across the United States. With the knowledge gained from so many years of spending time in the backcountry, wild trout on the fly.com is now proud to provide the low cost service of planning trips into Colorado's backcountry to the public in 2008.
Not an outfitting service, wild trout on the fly.com provides you with all the information you need to make your trip into the Colorado backcountry the most it can be. You simply provide the area in which you wish to visit, what you plan to do (i.e. fly-fish, hike, nature watch, relax), your skill level (have you backpacked before, or are you new to the game), and how long you plan to stay. We will provide all topographic maps of the areas you wish to visit (USGS Quad), all rules and regulations of the area, hike distances (approximated where necessary), suggested camping spots, lakes to fish (and what to use to catch them) and any other relevant information you may need to know about the area.
With wild trout on the fly.coms backcountry planning service all you have to do is sit back and wait for your package to arrive in the mail, you no longer have to spend time doing tedious research to find that special spot.
